As Author and Illustrator, Ms Hoey is bringing British archaeological discoveries to life through artistic creations of historic sites across the UK.

She is currently crafting a book series that offers an exciting perspective on life in Britain from the Neolithic through the Medieval Period (first book coming soon, 2025!)

Combining historical research with captivating original visuals, she is passionate about making the past accessible and engaging for anyone from enthusiasts to experts in the field.

Ms Hoey, the founder of WGW, brings a wealth of expertise to this venture. With a BA in Fine Arts, Post-Baccalaureate training in Studio Art, an MA in History of Art and Archaeology from SOAS University of London, and a Fellowship with the Jewish Federation of North America, Ms Hoey combines refined artistic skill with specialised scholarly knowledge. Her previous professional experience includes work as an Archivist for private art collections, co-curating and curating fine arts exhibitions and shows, biographical and art historical essay writing, teaching fine arts and art history to children and adults in classroom settings, providing private tuition in fine arts and art history, and participating in arts festivals, arts fundraisers, volunteering, and charitable fine art auctions.
